Privacy Policy — Glidr App

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Glidr ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Glidr app to book cabs, order food, send parcels or book shared rides in Kerala.

2. Information We Collect

• Account details: name, phone number, email address and profile photo.
• Location data: your pickup/drop location and delivery address while placing or tracking an order or ride.
• Order & ride history: restaurants ordered from, items purchased, trip routes and fares, courier details.
• Payment information: processed by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card, UPI or bank details ourselves.
• Saved addresses: home, work or other addresses you choose to save.
• Device & usage data: device identifiers, app version, crash logs and a notification token used to send you order/ride updates.

3. Location Data

We use your location to find nearby restaurants and drivers, calculate fares, and let you track your order or ride in real time. Location is collected while the app is in use for an active order or ride; you can disable location access in your device settings, though this will limit core features like nearby search and live tracking.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and process orders and bookings.
• To match you with nearby restaurants, drivers and delivery partners.
• To process payments and refunds through our payment partner.
• To send order, ride and account notifications.
• To provide customer support and investigate complaints or fraud.
• To improve the app's reliability and features.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share only what's needed to fulfil your request: your name, phone number and pickup/drop details with the assigned driver or delivery partner, and your order details with the restaurant you order from. We share payment details with our payment processor to complete transactions. We do not sell your personal information, and we only disclose it to law enforcement or regulators when legally required to do so.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls and secure storage — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we work to continuously improve our safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward where required for accounting, tax or legal compliance. You can request deletion at any time — see Delete Your Account.

8. Your Rights

You can access and update most of your information directly in the app under Profile. You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion by emailing us or using the in-app delete-account flow.

9. Children's Privacy

Glidr is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
