Draft notice: this policy is a working draft pending formal legal review. Do not treat it as final legal advice until it has been reviewed and approved by qualified counsel.
This Privacy Policy explains how Glidr ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information about drivers who register and accept ride requests through the Glidr Cab Driver app.
We collect your location while you are online in the app so we can match you with nearby ride requests, and continuously during an active trip so the customer can track the vehicle and we can verify the route. Location is not collected while you are offline. Continuous location access is required for the app's core functionality; you can go offline at any time to stop location sharing.
We share your name, vehicle details, live location and estimated arrival time with the customer once a ride is assigned. We share payout details with our payment processor to complete transfers. We do not sell your personal information, and we only disclose it to law enforcement or regulators when legally required to do so.
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access controls and secure storage — to protect your KYC documents, location and financial information, including encryption of sensitive fields such as Aadhaar, bank and UPI details.
We retain your KYC, trip and earnings data for as long as your driver account is active, and for a limited period afterward where required for accounting, tax, safety or legal compliance.
You can access and update most of your profile information directly in the app. To request a copy of your data or account closure, contact us using the details below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
